Custom printed woven polypropylene sacks for your brand
Promote your business with practical, production-ready flexographic printing on woven polypropylene sacks. Pacific Packaging Australia can print simple logos, text, line artwork and up to 2 spot colours on suitable woven sacks.
Because flexographic printing has technical limits, artwork must be supplied correctly. This page explains what can and cannot be printed before you submit your design.
Before you submit artwork
Best suited to:
Simple logos, bold text, line graphics, icons and clear product information.
Not suited to:
AI-generated images, photos, gradients, detailed illustrations, shadows, tiny text or full-colour designs.
Custom printed woven sacks for business packaging
Our flexographic printing process is designed for high-volume woven polypropylene sack printing. It is a practical solution for businesses that need branded packaging for firewood, kindling, stock feed, grain, chaff, produce, industrial materials and other bagged goods.
Flexographic printing works best with clean, simple artwork. It is not the same as digital printing, photo printing or full-colour packaging printing. Before placing an order, our team checks your artwork and prepares a proof so you can confirm the layout before production.
Common printed sack applications
- Printed firewood bags and kindling bags for retail and wholesale supply.
- Printed feed bags, chaff bags and grain bags for agricultural suppliers.
- Printed produce sacks for farm, market and distribution use.
- Printed industrial sacks for product identification and handling instructions.
- Branded woven polypropylene sacks for trade, rural and commercial packaging.

View Sacks PrintingFlexographic printing limitations
Flexographic printing is reliable and cost-effective for bulk sack orders, but it has important artwork limitations. Designs must be simplified for plate making and printing onto woven polypropylene.
AI images are usually not printable
AI-generated images often contain gradients, soft shadows, fine textures, blended colours and photo-style detail. These effects cannot be reproduced accurately with our sack flexographic printing process.
No photo-quality printing
Photos, realistic product renders, portraits, landscapes and detailed full-colour illustrations are not suitable. Flexographic sack printing is best for clean graphics, not photographic reproduction.
Maximum 2 colours
We print up to 2 spot colours on one side of the sack. Designs with many colours, full-colour artwork, CMYK images or complex colour blends must be simplified before quoting.
No gradients or shadows
Gradients, glow effects, drop shadows, soft fades and transparency effects do not translate well to flexographic plates. Artwork should use solid colour areas only.
Fine detail may fill in
Very thin lines, tiny icons, small reversed-out text and intricate patterns may print poorly or lose clarity on woven polypropylene. Bold, simple design gives the best result.
Registration can vary
With 2 colour printing, slight movement between colours can occur. Designs should allow tolerance between colours and avoid tight overlaps that require perfect registration.
Artwork requirements for printed sacks
To avoid delays, please supply final, press-ready artwork. If artwork needs to be redrawn, simplified or converted for plate making, additional artwork charges may apply.
Accepted artwork
- Vector files: AI, EPS, SVG or vector PDF.
- Simple logo artwork: clear shapes, bold lines and solid colours.
- Text: converted to outlines where possible.
- Colour references: spot colours or Pantone references where available.
- High contrast: simple artwork that remains clear on woven material.
Artwork to avoid
- AI-generated images, photo-style renders or detailed illustrations.
- JPG, PNG or low-resolution image files used as final artwork.
- Gradients, shadows, textures, transparency and fine shading.
- Small text, complex patterns and thin linework.
- Full-colour CMYK artwork or designs requiring more than 2 colours.
Important design guidance
For the best result, use a bold logo, simple brand mark, short product description, website, phone number and clear handling or product information. The fewer small details in the artwork, the cleaner the printed sack will look.
We are not a full creative design service. Our team can prepare a production proof from suitable supplied artwork, but complex logo redraws, AI artwork simplification or brand design work may need to be completed by your designer before submission.
